About the race

Miracle Mile is an annual run/walk in San Francisco, California that happens on a Sunday before Christmas. This is a family friendly race that runs through Peacock Meadow at Golden Gate Park. Peacock Meadow is located just east of the Conservatory of Flowers. The race is open to all ages, and participants can either run and walk. 


Miracle Mile is a brainchild of Dr.Michael German who is a Diabetes researcher at UCSF and a passionate runner. The goal of this is race is to benefit research, education and patient care conducted at the UCSF Diabetes Center. All the proceeds from the race goes towards Diabetes Research.Please feel free to to make donations to support Diabetes Research.
